ABOUT US

All Girls Considered is a movement to empower young women. Through digital media and mentoring, we create spaces in middle and high schools for women and girls to share their stories, their way. Since September, 2018, All Girls Considered has grown from just four girls in one classroom to multiple chapters in three states. Our girls have created and produced dozens of podcasts -- inspiring interviews with women leaders representing diverse careers and communities across our country. Our girls have interviewed everyone from a school choir teacher to New York Times bestselling authors!

Through AGC, girls develop a network of mentors: their school sponsors, the women they interview, and even the amazing girls on their team. They are also gaining leadership, communication,  and hands-on STEAM experience to carry into their careers. With each podcast, our girls build the confidence to own and share their stories by talking with women about opportunities, successes, failures, and shared experiences.

And for the rest of us, each podcast is an opportunity to find inspiration in the stories of women achieving big things in our world!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

All Girls Considered seeks to be at the center of the conversation about the value of women and girls in our society. We strive to provide a space free from judgment, competition, or ridicule. We uplift one another; understanding that "we rise by lifting others." We believe all stories matter and that there is strength in the diversity of our stories and lived experiences. With this in mind, we seek to be inclusive of language, country of origin, immigration status, race, age, gender expression, sexual orientation, religious belief, and ability. We believe that opening a dialogue brings us closer to one another and opens our minds to new ideas. We believe in the infinite capabilities of women. At its core and its best, All Girls Considered is a space for women, celebrating women, created by women.

I love being involved and I believe spreading the voices of women that aren’t always heard is important. I feel like a lot of middle schoolers, they don’t always make a difference in the world. I don’t want to wait until I’m an adult; I want to make a difference now.”
— Abigail, 8th grader
